Episode #153 Shownotes

I love the opportunity to wax philosophic about something I'm passionate about, and I'm really passionate about the Sherlock Holmes stories. No doubt next week I'll have another opportunity to do it. I didn't even get to the hilarious anti-mormon sections of 'A Study In Scarlet'...

Another remarkable thing that Mark Cavendish achieved this year is that he is now the only person to have won the final Tour de France stage on the Champs Elysee 2 years running. He is truly a phenomenon.

I also slightly misspoke. There has been a small drug controversy. Alessandro Petacchi has been implicated in a drug investigation in Italy. It doesn't appear to be anything serious and seems similar to the investigation that Alessandro Ballan got exonerated in earlier in the year.

Remember if you want to record me a bumper you can send it to ourobouros.podcast[at]gmail.com.

There didn't seem to be much point in putting a video player for last weeks show, since all I found was 2 live performances. Now I'm doing some proper shownotes I'll put it in for this week.

Here is the player for this weeks episode. Again not much.

Strangely (and rather laudably, since it's better quality) The official Nedry video only seems to be available on Vimeo

Episode #149 Shownotes

I'm a little disappointed that my theory about Amy in Dr Who turned out not to be true. It was never incredibly likely, just a thought that occurred to me. However another great thing about the Moffatt era of Dr Who is that not everything got explained, including the scene in 'The Eleventh Hour' that kick-started my theory in the first place. There remains a sliver of hope...

A really good selection of videos this week. The Thisorder one is definitely NSFW, but is an excellent piece of work.
